TwoTronic and Mercedes-Benz enter into partnership for automated vehicle condition recording and damage detection.

Ellgau, January 2025 – TwoTronic GmbH and Mercedes-Benz are launching a global partnership in the field of digital vehicle condition and damage detection. The magazine "Autohaus" previously reported on this in its article "Scanner for the Star" (this article is available at https://www.autohaus.de/nachrichten/werkstatt/mercedes-kooperiert-mit-twotronic-scanner-fuer-den-stern-3673750 ).

Within the scope of this collaboration, TwoTronic acts as a technology partner for digital vehicle condition and damage detection. At the heart of the collaboration are TwoTronic's state-of-the-art scanner solutions. The scanners are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and are seamlessly integrated into the global Mercedes-Benz service network.

"Our partnership with Mercedes-Benz marks an important milestone for TwoTronic and underscores the power of our scanner technology. Through close integration into the Mercedes-Benz network, we can make our innovative products accessible worldwide and support workshops in digitizing their processes and increasing their efficiency," explains Philip Junge, CCO of TwoTronic.

A key highlight of the partnership is the introduction of a new module for automated glass damage detection. Using patented detection technology, this module enables precise and reliable detection of glass damage, even on exterior surfaces. The module has been specifically optimized for Mercedes-Benz requirements and is available exclusively in Mercedes-Benz workshops.

The collaboration officially kicked off at the Mercedes-Benz European Service Summit. The TwoTronic team presented the new glass damage detection solution live to representatives of European Mercedes-Benz dealers.

The entire TwoTronic team is excited about the close collaboration with Mercedes-Benz and looks forward to the next steps in this partnership. Together, both companies are setting new standards in digital damage detection and actively shaping the future of the workshop process.
